Denise is also the co-founder and co-teacher (with author Carolyn Tomlin) of the new Boot Camp for Christian Writers – one day, practical, information-packed seminars designed to teach writers (and those who want to become writers!) how to craft words, approach book and magazine editors, and get published.

Denise is married to Dr. Timothy George, founding Dean of Beeson Divinitiy School, Samford University, Executive Editor of Christianity Today magazine, author of numerous books and articles, and co-founder/co-writer of The Manhattan Declaration (with Charles Colson and Dr. Robert George). Timothy and Denise have a daughter, Alyce Elizabeth, a son, Christian Timothy George, and a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Pounds George that bring them great joy!

Denise enjoys solitude, reading, pondering & reflecting, traveling the world, writing, speaking, teaching, and sharing a cup of coffee with a special friend. She also enjoys the company of her two beautiful little teacup chihuahuas, Valentino and Penelope.

Denise also greatly appreciates her agent, Greg Johnson, president of WordServe Literary Agency, and the best book agent in the business, as well as her talented and creative graphic designer and webmaster, Jill Wyse, who designs and maintains this website.
