Denise George is the author of 20 books, and more than 1200 articles in magazines such as Redbook, Essence, Christianity Today, Guideposts, Decision, Homelife, etc. She has written numerous radio spots for Chuck Colson's BreakPoint.
Denise co-teaches writing and publishing to seminary students and pastors in a unique course titled: "The Writing Minister" (with Dr. Calvin Miller) at Beeson Divinity School, Samford University. (Denise and Dr. Miller created and designed this course especially for Beeson Divinity School.)
She travels around the world to speak to churches, seminaries, retreats, Bible studies, writers groups, etc.
Denise lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with her husband, Dr. Timothy George, founding dean of Beeson Divinity School, and also the author of numerous books. They have three grown children: Alyce Elizabeth, and Christian Timothy and his wife, Rebecca.
Denise's hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, and fishing! She enjoys personal time spent in the Quiet and in solitude.
